DEPARTMENT UK Commercial Sales
REPORTS TO Manager - Business Development Region 1 UK
PURPOSE To sell and promote the Company’s products and services to commercial customers in designated territories within designated region.
MAIN DUTIES
• To identify potential customers & provide market intelligence
• To produce sales quotations and forecasts
• To build relationships with customers & Company’s representatives
• To make regular visits to customers & representatives
• To promote Company’s products at trade fairs and seminars
• Provide regular reporting to management
• Be aware of and follow Company procedures at all times
• To take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of other persons around you. Please refer to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy for full details.
• To be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements.
• To carry out any other reasonable management request.
DISCRETIONARY BUDGET/SALES TARGET (where appropriate)
Approx USD 2.5m pa
TECHNICAL/JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS Required:
• Strong computer skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours with frequent overseas travel likely
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in a technical, international market
• Self starter
Acquirable:
• Knowledge of the Marine Market
• Detailed understanding of Company’s products
• Very good presentation capability
