1. Overview
To ensure business objectives and strategic goals are met through the development, adoption and implementation of marketing strategies and plans related to Company’s Maritime products and services in order to maximize current business opportunities as well as commercialize new business opportunities.


2. Principal Accountabilities
(a) Oversees the development of market, strategic and operating plans for the Maritime product line.
(b) Develops and executes Company’s Maritime products and services’ major business programs involving product & market strategy, distribution, pricing, communications and promotions to be included in the Commercial division's overall market/product plans.
(c) Defines research outcomes necessary to support Company’s maritime market/product plan.
(d) Identifies and recommends new business development opportunities for Company’s new and existing maritime products, including analysis and interpretation of market segments, business trends and identification of customers' specific needs.
(e) Works with relevant departments to establish and manage Company’s Maritime products development process with appropriate management review.
(f) Develops implementation plans/schedules for introducing new or improved maritime products, including new product introduction program.
(g) In relation to Company’s maritime products, projects new product sales/profits, prepares and allocates financial resources to programs/products within forecasted guidelines and regulates expenditures.
(h) Analyzes and interprets changing Maritime market/industry dynamics and trends to determine the effect on product lines.
(i) Develops and expands global customer base by increasing knowledge of all facets of the marketplace, and analyzing competitive information and marketing intelligence.


The ideal candidate must meet the following job requirements:

• Proven sales and account management track record and over 10 years of experience mainly in establishing and expanding business contacts, selling products and services, marketing and customer management for maritime satellite communication solutions.
• Good knowledge of the maritime industry’s satellite communication needs as well as the ability to capture these needs through innovative value propositions.
• Well established in the target market segments and capable of enhancing sales leads.
• Experience in defining and implementing sales and business development strategies.
• Experience in the Satellite Telecommunication or Telecom industry.
• Capable of applying cost–benefit analysis to opportunities on hand.
• Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing and/or Engineering.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
